Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on March 16 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. She has been on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, also known as Aisling "Bea", is a popular Irish actor and writer. Born on the 16th of March 1984. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011 as a comedian after appearing in small part in Irish and British TV series starting in 2009. She was already regularly appearing on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms. In 2012, after she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing frequently in panel programs. From 2016 to 2017 she was a team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant on the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she has one sibling named Sinead. The only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea's surname is in honour of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh is an Kildare born girl. She was born in March 16, 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who took his own life at the age of three when Bea reached the age of three, was the sufferer of self-harm. Bea was informed of his death only at thirteen years of age. The stage name she chose was Bea in honor of her father. She also wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a an ex-professional jockey. Her family were passionate about horses and races. Bea was initially tourist guides at the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her love was performing and not racing.
